The Qs in life

June 6, 2008

I am idle.Phew,’I’ am idle…those who know me will be surely surprised..what to say now?Regrets?nah!i like to be idle as much as i love to work.But the thing is i don’t try to be idle..but if i have to be idle,i don’t mind being idle.People say:Idle mind is devil’s workshop!!May be not.Or may be perhaps doing a course in the devil’s workshop helps at times,so that you may know how to handle the devils in reality.Seriously there are devils..no not the vampires/ghosts/or the other parapsychological stuff.I am not scared of such things,even if they existed,which i doubt even today.What one can’t achieve alive,can’t achieve by death and those who suicide are quitters from the play-for those to whom playing matters,these(quitters) should be of least fear.so,getting back,I am talking about devils in other forms..in forms that are beyond human vision..the devil lurking in the minds of people.Everyone has the quotient..just like IQ/EQ..acc to me there’s a DQ as well…a word that can only come close to this DQ is sadism…pleasure from other’s pain.We all have it,hidden in some,blossomming in some and in full bloom for some.Its there everywhere,only needs a springboard to pop out.Just the wrong moment,its operative in full strength.

This DQ can never be calculated..because its too wicked enough to be tracked through strategies or analysis.Traces to abundance,concealed to revealed,kids to elders..the network it covers..perhaps no mobile phone network can compete against it.Its that efficient,24*7,with roaming and bluetooth facilities..

I’ve experienced sadism in my life..very very few…while mostly i have been the prey,i was on the other side too,once..it came as a reaction resulting from serious provocation.I don’t play with people’s feelings..let it be good or bad,for various reasons..most of them ultimately pointing towards personal peace.I don’t bounce back on barking dogs,they are of least concern to me.But there was one situation…and when that person suffered later in life.i just couldn’t help feeling something like happiness..no,i was no way involved with that person’s suffering,it was a consequence of that person’s own wrong deeds.But then, i immediately corrected myself..this is not fair..this is not me..i am no altruist…In the core ,who cares what one thinks of others?There are so many worthier isues..so many questions posed..in the world and beyond ,waiting for addressee.I thought diversion is a must.That was the first and the last till date.

So you see,just because you have been hurted,just because you have been dumped,just because you have been neglected,just because you have cheated upon,just because you have been the underdog..doesn’t mean you aren’t worthy.All you need to ask yourself is just one simple question-’Why did i let this happen to me?” and you’ll find the rest unravelling itself..Try it.Remember nobody can disturb you,unless you let them to..Take care of yourself,anywhere and everywhere.Cheers!!

About Meebo.com

June 6, 2008

This website came as a widget option for my blog.Fine,lets me get in touch with whoever is reading my stuff.But one thing kept haunting me…is this a safe option?I started doubting its credibility even more when i was able to chat with a friend of mine who is a gmail user by simply sending that person an add buddy request.i am on meebo.com and that one on Gtalk.Still a chat was possible?hmm…is there a catch here?

Well,after doing some browsing and googling,i was partially able to figure out the modus operandi.

This is how it goes::

When a meebo user starts an IM session, meebo creates another network connection with AOL, Jabber, MSN, and Yahoo’s services which are located in different colocation facilities. meebo does this by relying upon an open-source client called GAIM that is popular among Linux users. GAIM can connect with all of the major IM networks and was written as a desktop application. Sandy has heavily modified and optimized GAIM so that we can run many, many instances of GAIM on each server. Fortunately, the communication back and forth between a user’s computer, meebo’s servers, and the IM network happens very quickly — sending and receiving messages is virtually instantaneous.

Meebo’s web pages are dynamic. This means meebo can display new content (like an IM message or a new buddy notification) without refreshing the page. This is what developers refer to as “Ajax.” Traditional webpages only talk to the servers when you click a button, refresh the page, or navigate to a new url. However, Ajax-enabled webpages can talk to the servers at any time by using XMLHttpRequest objects.

That’s it for now..many security check websites have certified this service stating that its http access is secure..still skeptical..will update any other finding soon.
